What’s an Oopsie Color?
Well sometimes whilst formulating new shades of Lip + Cheek, I stumble upon a color that was not my goal, but I still like it. In the past, these colors just lived as “maybe I’ll do something with that someday,” I assume on some annex of the Island of Misfit Toys dedicated to cosmetics. Well Oopsies, shake off that claymation snow and say goodbye to Yukon Cornelius and hello to…being sold? And…smeared onto human skin? The analogy is getting away from me but you get it. Now Oopsie shades will live here when the stars align and I accidentally make something too good to abandon on a chunk of ice with a choo choo sporting square wheels on its caboose. Cacao Verdadero
Cacao Verdadero means “Real Cocoa” it’s most similar to our color Cocoa, but it is more of a true chocolate with less rosiness and it is as creamy, decadent, and sensual as chocolate.
