Smok Nord Replacement Vape Coils Smok Nord replacement coils come in packs of 5, Available as Meshed, Ceramic or DL and are designed for the Smok Nord Pods – See below which coil would best suit you, We stock all six variations of the nord series of coils. The higher resistance coils would be 1.4 Regular, and 1.4 Ceramic which perfect for higher-PG e-liquids and nicotine salts, and offers a tighter draw which is ideal for mouth-to-lung vaper. Ceramic coils are loved by manger vapers as they are more robust and last longer due to the build. The lower resistance coils such as the 0.8/ 0.6 Meshed and 0.8 DC / 0.8 DC are designed to give you intense flavour with lower resistance and are reccommened for Direct to lung vaping (DTL) Many of the Smok Nord are meshed coils – giving a fresher and purer flavour Here why meshed coils are the new must ! Mesh coils have a grid like strip of metal – often made from something like Kanthal or Nichrome. They are designed to increase the surface area of metal that comes into contact with your wicking material (usually cotton). Standard wires are a single thread of wire “coiled” into a spiral that sits inside the cotton. This is why mesh coils are becomming more popular in the vaping industry. Please note these are Designed for the Nord Pods and will not fit the RPM Pods Here is a breakdon of the coil features: 1.4 ohm Regular Coils: 1.4 ohm Resistance Standard Coil Maximum Wattage: 12W 1.4 ohm Ceramic Coils 1.4 ohm Resistance Ceramic Coil High-temperature resistant 0.8 ohm Mesh Coils 0.8Ω Resistance Mesh Sub-Ohm

Maximum Power 25W Generally how long should a coil last ? The coils life depends on many factors, including how long you puff for and the wattage you use your coil at. Low resistance coils are used at higher wattages and don’t last as long as high resistance coils. Extend the life of your coil life by: priming the coil before usage (Cover the cotton with eliquid and leave it to sit for around 15 mins )
by not going above the recommended wattage (the the reccomended watts written the each specific coil)
by topping up your tank so that the coil never dries out (we reccomened you top of your eliquid once you can see your tank is half full. With care, Nord coils can last anything from a few days to a week.
